Angie Corry MSW, LCSW

Angie Corry is a licensed clinical therapist in the state of New Jersey.  She has an advanced graduate degree in social work and is currently a Ph.D candidate in social work research.  Angie is recognized as a certified trauma therapist and primarily works with children, adolescents, and families. 

 

Angie’s specialties include: Premarital and Marital Counseling, Career, and Life Path, Dating and Relationships, Sex and Intimacy, Restoring Connection,  Self Esteem and Empowerment, Setting Boundaries and Speaking Up, Family of Origin Issues, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and Depression, Peri-natal issues, and Post-Partum Issues, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She has had experience in several aspects of clinical services in various settings including community-based, outpatient, and alternative educational settings. She also has extensive experience working with youth and adults with emotional and behavioral issues. 

Angie has been trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Strength-Based Therapy, Family Systems, Play Therapy Informed Technique, Solution-Focused, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. Angie is also a recognized professor in multiple university settings and speaker in the social work field regarding her research done on human sexuality in adolescents and emerging adults.
